“Brazilian Sayings” is a poster series inspired by popular Brazilian expressions literally, and proudly, mistranslated into English. It follows the tone of Brazilian internet humor found in memes and pages like “Greengo Dictionary.” The phrases might sound grammatically off (and they probably are), but that’s exactly the point: keeping them as close as possible to how we say things in Brazil.

This is a personal project I started during my vacation as a way to explore different graphic styles, typography, and try out a bit of digital illustration, areas I don’t usually dive into in my daily work.
