Joro

Jöro Ceramics is an artisanal studio dedicated to creating fully handmade pieces, from plates and mugs to vases and conceptual artworks, always guided by a desire to reconnect people with nature through clay. The brand’s concept is rooted in the earth itself, reflected in its visual identity and in the name Jöro (or Jord), a figure from Norse mythology who embodies the land and is the mother of Thor and Meili.

To bring this idea to life, the visual identity introduces a symbol that merges ceramic bowls with a subtle smile, giving the brand a warm and playful personality. This symbol can stand alone or replace one of the “o”s in the logo, resulting in a distinctive and memorable mark. The color palette features earthy, muted tones inspired by the studio’s natural materials, adding elegance while reinforcing the brand’s connection to the land.
